Epitalon

Epitalon is a Pineal Tetrapeptide — Also known as Epithalon supplied for laboratory research. Pineal-derived tetrapeptide studied in vitro for telomerase activation pathway modeling, telomere length regulation research, and cellular-aging signaling mechanism analysis.

“Epitalon,” “Epithalon,” and “Epithalone” are alternate transliterations of the same pineal tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly). It is studied for telomerase activation and telomere-length regulation.

Both are pineal peptide bioregulators studied for different pathways: Epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) is best known in research for telomerase activation and telomere-length regulation, while Pinealon (Glu-Asp-Arg) is studied more for neuroprotective and cognitive signaling.

Epitalon is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder — a dehydrated form that keeps the peptide stable during shipping and storage. In the laboratory it is reconstituted (returned to liquid form) using a solvent such as bacteriostatic water, added slowly against the side of the vial, which is then swirled gently — never shaken — until the powder fully dissolves. All handling is for in vitro research use only.

Every batch of Epitalon is produced to a purity of 99% or higher. Purity and molecular identity are verified using standard analytical methods — high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to measure purity, and mass spectrometry (MS) to confirm the peptide's molecular weight.
